Project Overview

The Next Generation Coronary Guide Catheter Project consisted of the creation of Coronary Guide Catheter with a larger inner lumen which varied in stiffness at prescribed locations along its length to provide the physician with better control. This project included the investigation of numerous concepts for altering shaft stiffness.

Mechanical Design

Our staff member provided some of the Mechanical Design services required to investigate the numerous manufacturing methods for altering shaft stiffness.

Engineering Analysis

Our staff member provided some of the Engineering Analysis services required to determine the manufacturability of the new device including an extensive component and process variance analysis.

Process Development

Our staff member provided some of the Process Development services required to create new manufacturing processes and determine the capability of the manufacturing processes used to create the new device.
