With the staff of Accel Automation, comes past employment experience developing a High Speed Paper Cutting Machine. Our staff member provided the Mechanical Design, and Engineering Analysis services to evaluate an existing design, and recommend changes to improve performance.

Project Overview

The High Speed Paper Cutting Machine cross-cuts tractor fed paper in preparation for mass mailing. Using Mathcad, our staff member mathematically modeled the high speed intermittent motion of the feed and cutting mechanisms to determine the operating speeds and loads on the device. Our staff member also provided alternate design concepts to improve machine performance.
