With the staff of Accel Automation, comes past employment experience developing a Connector Oven. Our staff member provided Mechanical Design and Process Development services to create this device.

Project Overview

The Connector Oven is a device which applies heat to shrink a heat-shrink material onto the junction between a fiber optic cable and a connector to act as a strain relief.

Our staff member designed the device used to apply the heat to the heat shrink, and performed the necessary experiments to validate the process.
