Accel Automation played a key role in developing an Air Bearing. Accel Automation provided Mechanical Design, and Engineering Analysis services to help create the device.

Project Overview

The Air Bearing Project was a study of the effects of various factors on the design of a custom air bearing for a special application. Several configurations were analyzed to determine the effects of the various parameters on bearing load capacity and air consumption.

Mechanical Design

Accel Automation used SolidWorks to provide the Mechanical Design services required to create the various air bearing configurations for analysis.

Engineering Analysis

Accel Automation used COSMOS FloWorks to provide the Engineering Analysis services required to determine the bearing load capacity and air consumption of the various configurations.
